Bring new life to your old clothes! Practice mending knits with needle felting and darning, or by unraveling an old sweater or knit piece and using the yarn for something new and beautiful! Practice new skills or share your wooly knowledge with the group. Bring a sweater or other knit item that needs mending or is ready to be reclaimed. Drop by, hang out, and work on mending projects. The Youth Services team at ImagineIF Libraries plans and implements early literacy programs for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers in Kalispell, Bigfork, and Columbia Falls. Our goal in every Storytime is to connect with young children and their caregivers through books, songs, and interactive activities that foster early literacy and social emotional skills. This fall we’re bringing together young adults and older adults to have meaningful conversations that help bridge the gap between generations and build new connections of understanding. In this project, young adults will interview older adults using questions collected from older adults in the Spring of 2023.
