Create a Bookmark for ImagineIF Libraries!
The teens of ImagineIF voted for “Cat Villains” for the Teen Summer Experience 2024 theme. Now we need you, teen artists, to submit your Cat Villains themed bookmark design, then get everyone you know to vote for it! Not a cat person? Use the theme “Mystery” instead! Have fun and be creative!
This year’s Spring Bookmark Contest has ended. Congrats to our winners: Brooke with catnip bandit artwork in the 11-14 age category, and Madeline with cat collage artwork in the 15-18 age category. Thanks to everyone who participated!
Upload your bookmark using the form below. Two bookmark designs will be crowned winners, one from each age category: ages 11-14, and ages 15-18. The winning art will become the official 2024 Teen Summer Experience Bookmarks, and the artists will take home a full-sized poster of their work!
Click on “ENTER ARTWORK” to enter the contest. You will need to create a profile using your email address. This is how we tally votes and will only be used for this purpose. Bookmark size must be 1.95”w x 8.25”h. Minimum width must be 350px.
Click on a photo to vote. You get one vote per bookmark, and you can vote on as many bookmarks as you like.
Rules & Prizes
Two bookmark designs will be crowned winners, one from each age category: ages 11-14, and ages 15-18. The winners will be determined based on votes gathered in our online photo gallery.
The winning art will become the official 2024 Teen Summer Experience Bookmark, and the artist will take home a full-sized poster of their work!
- Contest Entry Period: March 11 - April 20, 2024
- Contest Voting Period: April 22 - 29, 2024
- Winner Announced: April 30, 2024
- The contest is open to anyone ages 11-18.
- There are two age categories: ages 11-14, and ages 15-18.
- No entries featuring guns or depicting excessive violence will be accepted.
- Registration using your email address is required to enter the contest or vote.
- Limit one entry per contestant.
- Bookmark size must be 1.95”w x 8.25”h. Minimum width must be 350px.
- One vote per bookmark. You can vote on as many bookmarks as you like.
- Participants can also submit artwork using a paper form that can be picked up at any ImagineIF Teen Zone.
- Art needs to be original and cannot feature copyrighted characters.
- Any art media is acceptable, including original digital artwork, and original photography.
- Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses.
- ImagineIF Libraries reserves the right to end the contest at anytime for any reason.
- ImagineIF Libraries reserves the right to disqualify any entrants that violate the rules.
- All entries become the property of ImagineIF Libraries and will not be returned.
- Contestants’ name, age and artwork may be released on ImagineIF's social media, displayed and/or reproduced.
- All applicants under the age of 18 must have the approval of their parent or guardian to enter.
- In the event of a tie, a panel of ImagineIF staff will vote on the winning entries to break the tie.
