Takeout Kits for Teens
The Teen Take & Make Kit challenges teens to explore STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities through entertaining and fun projects they can do at home. These kits are especially for youth in 6th – 12th grade. Kits available the 1st Monday of each month while supplies last.
April’s Kit: Redacted Poetry
Teens will create found-art poetry from discarded book pages, striking out extraneous language with a pen. Writing poetry helps teens exercise insight and develop close reading skills.
