New Fall Programs for Teens

ImagineIF Libraries is excited to unveil new educational programming for kids and teens. Due to COVID-19, in-person programs are on pause, but ImagineIF’s Youth Services team still provides hands-on learning for young people. See Teen programming below:

Teen Take & Make (6th-12th grade) 

The Teen Take & Make program challenges teens to explore STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities through ridiculously fun projects they can do at home. Teen Take & Make kits can be picked up at any ImagineIF location. While supplies last.

Teen Fandom Trivia  (6th-12th grade) – Nov 17 @4pm via Zoom

Teens can put their knowledge of books, comics, film, anime, and fandom culture to the test in this online trivia showdown. Teens are encouraged to rock their favorite fandom tee, toss on an anime wig, or do full-on cosplay: this is a place to celebrate fan culture!

Teens can join by going to: Password: fandom. Teen Fandom Trivia uses Zoom software. Mobile hotspots are available for checkout at any ImagineIF location.

Teen Eats Videos (6th-12th grade)

Teens! Pair your fandom knowledge with culinary arts in our Teen Eats series! Join Ashley as she shows you how to cook up culinary delights inspired by fandom lore. Check our Social Media pages for the latest and get a link to download each recipe!

Do you have questions about how the United States works? How do we choose who gets to be president? What in the world is SCOTUS and why do people keep talking about it? How can you make your voice be heard? Find out by taking the online challenge!
