The Youth Services team at ImagineIF Libraries plans and implements early literacy programs for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers in Kalispell, Bigfork, and Columbia Falls. Our goal in every Storytime is to connect with young children and their caregivers through books, songs, and interactive activities that foster early literacy and social emotional skills. This fall we’re bringing together young adults and older adults to have meaningful conversations that help bridge the gap between generations and build new connections of understanding. In this project, young adults will interview older adults using questions collected from older adults in the Spring of 2023. Bring new life to your old clothes! Join ImagineIF and Justin Barry from Functional Design, a local upcycling company, for a Screen-Printing workshop. Bring an old T-shirt and create your own design to screen print on it. Learn to use a screen printer and discover other simple ways of printing designs on your old clothes, including stamp carving and freezer paper stencils.
