Gear up for an exciting racing event at ImagineIF Libraries! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner, we invite you to join us for the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Tournament on February 17, 2024, at 12:30 pm. Buckle up, rev your engines, and get ready!

HOW IT WORKS:
Tournament Setup:
- Kids and tweens in grades 4th-8th are invited to participate
- Contestants aged 10 and younger must have a parent or caregiver present
- Contestants must get a racing number from 12:00 – 12:45 pm on tournament day
- Cap of 32 contestants
- Rotation-style tournament
- 3 playoffs culminating in a championship round based on points earned in playoffs
- Playoffs: 2 to 4 contestant match-ups, 150cc, No Teams, Normal Items, Normal COM, All Vehicles, Random Courses, ONE race
- Championship: 2 to 4 contestant match-ups, 150cc, No Teams, Normal Items, No COM, All Vehicles, Random Courses, ONE race
- Everyone will race 4 times
Equipment:
- All contestants must use the single joy-con controller provided with or without a wheel
Prizes:
- Buttons of all the racers in Mario Kart available as prizes to all contestants
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive commemorative buttons proudly stating their placement
